Nice post. I agree change is a good thing - it is a journey. I think many people shy away from change because the unknown is scary. If their faith is lacking than the change is really scary (I was there not too long ago so I speak of my and countless others in the valley), almost like the childish kid that feels monsters are under the bed. Change develops you to who you are and in turn will help you reach out to the struggling soul of another. I know there are times that change seems to bring the worst in someone. However, their story is not finished and the ending is yet to come. The caring heart can guide the person to see a world beyond them and how change is just another chapter in their story. It is hard to see the big picture in life or the cup overflowing if your eyes are fuzzy. I think change is like going on a vacation without plans. The unknown is an adventure, a little or lot (if you like planning) anxiety, and the outcome is how you choose to view it through your lens.
