Sorry, it’s been so long…

Yesterday Ephraim was 6 months old. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long and yet i can’t very well remember life without him. It feels as though a lot has happened since i last posted; not even to mention the progress of the house. Ephraim’s rolled off the bed, we’ve vacationed in Trinidad, Colorado, we’ve set the yard on fire; a wonderful family unexpectedly lost their husband and father, and we found out we’re expecting another baby. It’s funny how death and life are so interconnected. O, to ponder the mysteries…

It’s been a while since i last posted. I like to believe that after things level out with the house (which i hope is soon) i’ll get back into my routine of regular reading and writing. Until then however, we’ll have to be satisfied with the sporadic and unexpected. That being said, i’ll try and post some pictures soon.

Alas, we’ve made progress!

I know, i know, it’s been a while.  Something about being a dad is pulling me away from my other things like writing and even working on our house.  But alas, we have made progress and quite a bit at that—at least since the last time i posted…  We have sheetrock now!

Also, i haven’t mentioned this yet here, but we baptized Ephraim a while back on Sunday, October 2.  We were thrilled to formally welcome him into the covenant.  Enjoy some pics of the place and our boy.

Welcome Ephraim!

Coming right along…

Well, as you have probably guessed, i have been somewhat preoccupied hence my inattention to the blog.  The last three weeks have been an amazing time with our boy, he’s changing so fast.  He’s extremely content and sleeps pretty well for the most part, although he has his nights…

We finally have insulation in.  It is amazing how much the atmosphere inside changed after it was installed.  It turned out to be about a thousand dollars cheaper for us to hire guys instead of us doing it ourself, thanks to Manny.

Enjoy some pics of the boy and the house.
