This is going to be tall… 20′ sidewalls to be precise, and with a 2:12 pitch roof…

Lift it higher!

I wish i had one of those...

And we finally have window and door openings!

Window openings

A view from the inside.

and now looking north..

We have steel…

It was a misty, moisty morning so at this half way mark (noon) we finally have steel.  Can’t wait till it’s vertical!

Steel-ie-span...

But before you go, enjoy this “Misty Moisty Morning” by Steeleye Span

That just happened!

Wow what a day, it was great, and now we have a foundation to build on!

lets go!

After a little premature start, and dad getting a little upset, the steel is now up and ready to go.

3,2,1, GO!

here's the big picture

first half finished

needs to dry a little more before they get on it

concrete isn't smooth yet

Sign in, don't forget anyone!

Signed in, all there!

complete!

Soon i will be standing in this kitchen.

The day is done, thank you Jesus!

I will leave you with this little poem to accompany this last photo:

The day is done

It surely was fun

Isn’t this a pretty sun

We used to be pagan too!

Just read a great article on Christmas here and thought i would pass it right along.  If it is any incentive, i highly recommend it, especially if you or anyone you know refuses to celebrate this joyous season (or certain aspects of it) because of the supposed pagan roots…

“Some object to the celebration of Christmas on the grounds that it used to be a pagan holiday. But that’s ok. We used to be pagan too.”—Douglas Wilson

“Since the Savior’s advent in our midst, not only does idolatry no longer increase, but it is getting less and gradually ceasing to be. Similarly, not only does the wisdom of the Greeks no longer make any progress, but that which used to be is disappearing. . . . On the other hand, while idolatry and everything else that opposes the faith of Christ is daily dwindling and weakening and falling, the Savior’s teaching is increasing everywhere.”— Athanasius
