At least i don’t think so…

Tomorrow is the day that the cabinets (for the apt) will finally arrive home!  Today we ripped some more plywood for the tops and such, we cut the hole out for the sink and trimmed out a couple doors.  Fun stuff!  Like i said, these are only the kitchen cabinets for the apartment, we still have to do the ones for our house, not to mention the four bathroom vanities, yes there is a lot left, however, we’re moving at a great pace and i don’t think we’ll be waiting on cabinets…

Here are some pics from my phone:

Next comes the paint, and to decide on a countertop…

Racing a fast baby—part four of the Saga.

Well it has been over a month since i have posted anything about the house and you just might be getting worried that all work has ceased.  But have no fear, the saga continues and actually i am feeling pretty good because i can almost start to see an end to this framing business, now only if it could be progressing as consistent and rapidly as Ephraim (again pronounced Eh-frum).

So yes, we are still framing, but that isn’t all we’re doing.  Work has also begun on our cabinets—that would be the kitchen and bathroom vanities—thanks to my grandpa Tony.  He is the master craftsman and Spencer and i are the apprentices.  We are learning some incredible stuff and loving every minute of all of this labor.
