I know what you’re thinking, twice in one week… It’s kinda like the old days—back when i started this blog… and i blogged.
Well today was quite productive according to our standards of productivity. As Ej would say, you guys are averaging one wall every two weeks, and i would say, gee you’re being fairly gracious. Anyhow, we had a good solid day today and i have the evidence to prove it, now just you try and enjoy it!

Entry way from the shop area.

From the north door.

My shop is getting smaller...

That would be the way to the living room.
I thought i would give you a little photo tour this evening (about 8:30) of the compound out here where we’re building on my parent’s land…

Here's the pond.

Next the well-house and my parents garage.

My parent's house and on the left, our house.

The driveway. (If you were to go all the way back you'd get to my grandparent's house.)

There's the place—the barndo—the shouse—home!

Today we have finally begun on the roof panels, it had to be really calm for them to get the first few down and luckily this morning was perfect. But before we go there, i have to catch up and show you what else has been going on this week…

Getting the last side covered. (Wed.)

Almost done...

From the inside

"That's the awning?!?" - Ej (Thur.)

First few sheets are up! (Fri.)

If you look closely you can see how far they got today (on both sides)
It is pretty interesting that it feels so much bigger with part of the roof on, it’s almost like a zeppelin hanger, or a really big thimble… (i’ll show you what i mean later…)

Here’s some of what was accomplished today…

A whole new meaning for window shopping.

Insulation and siding.

From the inside.

Done with the north side. p.s. those are our windows in the trailer.
I am so glad we decided to go with all galvalume (the silver color)

I think it looks pretty contemporary.

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Memphis for Erin’s brother’s wedding, it was a great time with all of the family. And here are some pics of what all has been going on around here, enjoy!
Almost have a roof!

Looking in the living room.

Sheet metal delivery!

Three more door openings!

Looking east...

It's coming together...

That's our guest bathroom window.

Sweet deliveries...

The roll door!

p.s. We got our windows today!

And we also picked up our french doors!
