We will be singing Psalm 134 (NKJV) this week. The arrangement we will use is actually a 3-part canon. A canon, as per wikipedia, is “a piece of music\u00a0in which two or more voices\u00a0(or\u00a0instrumental\u00a0parts) sing or play the same music starting at different times.” (Think of “Row Row Row Your Boat” sung in a round.)<\/p>\n
You can listen to it below and when you do, you will hear the folks\u00a0singing it in all three parts. Don’t be intimidated, be inspired. We will\u00a0take our time and make sure we are all familiar enough with the song before we attempt to sing it in 3 parts.\u00a0That being said, my Ephraim (6) picked up the melody of this song up in about\u00a0a week by just listening to it a few times a day. I trust you guys can do the same\u00a0with a pinch\u00a0of effort.<\/p>\n
