I recently came across a gentleman who takes Psalms and sets them to old familiar hymn tunes in order to make singing the Psalms\u2014God’s inspired songbook for His church\u2014more accessible for congregations, like ours, who do not know how to read sheet music. This allows us to sings the words and themes of the Psalms without having to first learn a bunch of new music or musical skills.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we will be singing Psalm 63 set to the tune TERRA PATRIS (or TERRA BEATA) which you will know from the hymn, “This Is My Father’s World.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
