Well we have begun framing which is pretty exciting, although frustrating at the same time. I have been well informed by several people but i still am not at all confident in what i’m doing so my natural inclination is to drag my feet because of my uncertainty. Nonetheless we are moving forward and with no major speed bumps yet, just the occasional, “oh this isn’t square”, or “we need to move this wall about 18 inches”, or “that wall has to come back down.” If we continued at the pace of the last few days we should be done before the world ends on December 21st, 2012 but i suspect we will be picking up the pace as we get the hang of it. In the mean time lets just enjoy our progress so far…
